Camp Victor Ministries is a faith-based organization whose mission is to provide safe, sanitary and secure housing to Jackson County residents affected by Hurricane Katrina.

Camp Victor houses a volunteer camp and kitchen, case management and administrative offices, a tool crib and supply warehouse and a construction department all under one roof. Every week we host volunteers from across the country who come to the Gulf Coast to help rebuild the homes and lives of local residents. Under the direction of our construction department, volunteers tackle a variety of rebuilding projects from roofing, to hanging drywall or painting.

Three years out from Hurricane Katrina the need for dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers still exists! As the funding dwindles and people across the nation forget about the storm, over 6,000 Mississippi residents are still living in FEMA trailers. Of the 64,000 homes destroyed, and 78,000 additional homes damaged, we are only 30% rebuilt. Experts estimate it will take an additional 8-10 years to rebuild. We need your support to continue our mission!
